Master of Arts in Global Risk, ’17
Prior to attending Johns Hopkins SAIS, Kofi, a candidate in the school’s Master of Arts in Global Risk (MAGR), was building his new risk assessment and security consulting company. Previously, he spent several years as an intelligence officer, working various regions and issues such as the Middle East, Asia, Europe, counter-terrorism, and business continuity.
Attracted to the Johns Hopkins SAIS brand, Kofi learned more about the new MAGR program and realized this program’s curriculum would allow him to “bridge” his interests in international affairs, national security, and corporate risk management.
With interests in Iran, North Korea, counter-terrorism, and corporate risks, Kofi plans to use his newfound understanding of global risks and risk methodology to enhance his prospects in both the private and public sectors.
