Coffee Hour with Dean Nasr

Current students from among the school’s degrees and concentrations joined Dean Vali Nasr for a coffee chat, where they exchanged ideas related to community outreach, curriculum, faculty, and potential career paths after graduation.

The discussion kicked off with Dean Nasr answering questions about the school’s proposed relocation to downtown Washington, DC, followed by insights on the school’s curriculum, growing faculty, and diversity of the student body.

One question raised by a student pertained to the Master of Arts degree’s economic requirement in which Dean Nasr explained that the economics component is essential for equipping students with the qualitative and quantitative knowledge required to perform optimally across all sectors.
